Why is it so awkward when we put ourselves out there?
Is it because the mask we adopted is a safer place to be seen from?
If a mask is judged it transfers all the negativity & shame from the wearer: the guise, an ageis of protection, insulates them from feeling any hurt or other dreaded emotions.
If I keep wearing that mask, I’ll never grow
I’ll never hurt,
never be embarrassed
never feel like what it feels to be me…
So why keep wearing it?
Do you want to live out your life hidden?
If you don’t want to be a hidden character, then place yourself on the player select screen.
