Summer Reflection
This summer I tried to catch and live fleeting moments on film… Slowing down is the obligation a manual focus camera sincerely asks of the photographer, and when heeded, one might just start to…
notice the harsh shadows of a midday sun,
or the passing of clouds providing brief, diffused light for "perfect" portrait conditions.
Reflecting on this past salubrious summer it was like a sunset on Kelly Drive. Vivid, intense, but having to end eventually… I truly enjoyed all the serendipitous encounters and short but beautiful connections that found me that season.
It’s my belief these photos capture the luminous beauty in the impermanence of the moment.
